How to describe a job clearly
A useful job description explains the outcome, present condition, location, timing and any known access constraints.
- Start with the outcomeSay what should be repaired, installed, replaced or assessed.
- Add useful contextInclude approximate sizes, materials, symptoms and what has already been tried.
- Explain access and timingMention parking, stairs, restricted hours, urgency and when someone can provide access.
Do not publish alarm codes, keys, a full address or other private security information in the public description.
